Travel to Croatia next month for delicious fish dishes

Fans of delicious local cuisine should travel to Croatia next month, where a special event is being held on the banks of a river in Koprivnica.

Seafood is one of the country's most revered types of cuisine, whether it be caught in the rivers of northern Croatia or from the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Fishermen to their Town is a festival running on April 16th and 17th where dozens of Croatians will bring their rods in order to provide tasty meals for visitors.

Up to six hundred litres of traditional paprika seasoned fish stew is just one of the delicacies set to be on the menu.

Some of the country's top chefs will convene to prepare their own items from the catches, with all of their creations available to taste.

Alternatively, another event open to tourists at that time is the Croatia Boat Show, which is scheduled to take place in Split from April 12th to 17th.
