Travel to Dubrovnik for 'an unforgettable experience'
04 March 2011Tourists have been advised to travel to Dubrovnik for a holiday and use the city's cable car if they desire an experience that is truly "unforgettable".
According to the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, those who take the trip to the top of Mount Srd will be greeted with a "breathtaking" view over the resort.
Spots to look out for, apart from the iconic red rooftops of the Old Town, include the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea and the city walls.
Meanwhile, venturing to the summit of Mount Srd at either the start or end of the day is advised, as a sunrise or sunset from the top is said to be spectacular.
The tourist board said people typically enjoy the panoramic views of the beautiful location, take photographs and sit down for a snack when on the peak.
