Travel to Dubrovnik for romantic Valentine's Day concert

Romantic couples could have the time of their lives should they choose to travel to Dubrovnik for a beautiful break this Valentine's Day.

With just four days until guys and girls have the chance to show their affection for each other, the Dubrovnik Tourist Board has told of a charming concert they can take in while in the city.

The Concert for Valentine's Day takes place on February 14th at the Marin Drzic Theatre within the resort, located at the southern end of the picturesque Dalmatian coast.

It is described by the organisation as an evening of love and romantic melodies and is due to get underway at 20:00 local time.

Some may see the event as another reason to book accommodation in Dubrovnik over the weekend with their loved one, following the advice dished out this week by Italian newspaper Corriere della Serra that was reported by the Croatian Times.

The publication described the Croatian city as "the new St Tropez" and praised its climate.
