Travel to Dubrovnik for talented musical group
15 June 2011A skilled music group are due to take to the stage in Dubrovnik next month, perhaps persuading many people to travel to Croatia to enjoy the performance.
The Dubrovnik Tourist Board confirms that the Dubrovnik String Quartet will be putting on a show on July 20th at St Saviour's Church in the heart of the ancient city.
Kicking off at 21:00 local time, the performance is entitled Candlelight Concert and is sure to feature some of the ensemble's finest pieces.
It comes in the midst of the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, which includes a wide range of music shows, theatre performances and artistic exhibitions.
Due to get underway earlier in July, the festival could provide the ultimate reason to travel to Dubrovnik at this time of year.
The Financial this week reported that it will soon be easier for Spaniards to reach holidays in Croatia, as national airline Iberia is set to restart its service between Madrid and Dubrovnik.
