Travellers to Croatia 'can expect high-quality boat show'
11 April 2011People who travel to Split for a special event in the country's calendar over the coming week can expect to find a series of nautical treats.
The Croatia Boat Show kicks off tomorrow (April 12th) and is due to feature all of the world's top exhibitors of sea-based vessels, according to the Croatian Times.
Vicenco Blagaic, organiser of the show, said all of the key players in the industry are due to return for this year's extravaganza, which runs until Sunday.
Although Mr Blagaic has been forced to decrease the size of the event in comparison to recent years as a result of the economic crisis, he maintained the most important features remain.
The Croatia Boat Show, despite its renewed size, is still one of the world's top ten festivals of its type.
Those thinking of travelling to Split this week could also use their voyage as a chance to check out the ancient city, which is centred around the mesmeric Diocletian's Palace.
