Underwater exhibition set to entertain holidaymakers in Croatia
24 February 2010A new exhibition of photographs taken underwater is to open in Split, in the Dalmatian region of Croatia, it has been reported.
Those heading off to stay in villas in Croatia may be interested in the event, which will showcase the work of native Tonci Coric at the Fotoklub Gallery in the city from today (February 24th) until March 22nd.
According to the Croatian Times, visitors to Croatia already enjoying their holiday will need to make their way to the opening at 19:00 local time to enjoy the work of the artist, who has been taking underwater pictures since 2004.
Titled Riblji Krajolici - Fish Landscapes - the exhibition is the artist's eighth independent show and incorporates various aquatic animals, such as seahorses, shellfish and other creatures.
The newspaper also recently reported that the Spanish Steps exhibition of fine shoes will be held in Zagreb this month - which may persuade fashion fans to book a Croatian holiday now.
