Unusual museum in Istrian town of Rovinj
02 January 2008An unusual museum in Rovinj presents a fascinating homage to the iconic wooden boats that have been used by the local fishermen for centuries.
The Batana House celebrates these flat bottom vessels that can be seen everywhere in the picturesque harbour of the Istrian town.
Modern multimedia and interactive exhibits bring to life the history and construction of the colourful boats and their connection with the community of Rovinj.
