World fashion brand hits Zagreb

One of the planet's most renowned fashion brands has opened its latest outlet in Zagreb city centre, it has been reported.

According to Javno, the Faith Connexion label is a favourite with major celebrities such as Madonna, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez.

Those visiting the Croatian capital will now get the opportunity to buy pieces from the collection, which includes a variety of day and night-time items made from silk, cashmere and leather, among other materials.

Karmen Horvat wrote on Javno: "Individual garments from collections were completed with interesting details - metal studs, belts, chains … which gives them a powerful and unique look."

She added that the brand had been present in the fashion world for years, and the new store on Gunduliceva Street would compliment others in New York, Paris and Barcelona.

Also in Zagreb, today (January 16th) saw the beginning of the World Handball Championship, where the Croatian national team were scheduled to take on South Korea.
