Zagreb set to welcome Cecelia Ahern

International best-selling author Cecelia Ahern will visit the Croatian capital to promote her latest novel Thanks for the Memories.

The acclaimed author will be in Zagreb on September 2nd to talk to fans about her latest novel, the Croatian Times reports.

Cecelia is the daughter of former prime minister of Ireland Bertie Ahern and wrote her first novel at the age of 21.

Profil are publishing her latest novel in Croatia following the popularity of her other work in the country.

She will be in attendance at the company's Megastore library, which is located in the centre of the city.

Cecelia's first novel PS I Love You was released in 40 countries and was made into a film starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler.

Croatia has welcomed a number of internationally acclaimed artists in recent weeks, with Oscar nominated actor Mickey Rourke attending the Dubrovnik Film Meeting.
