23 February 2010A new social networking site for creative people in Croatia has been launched, which may be of interest to those looking for apartments after moving to the country and who want to stay in touch with friends and family.
Called Mozgalo, derived from the Croat name for the brain, the site was revealed at the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Zagreb yesterday (February 22nd) and is set to go live on April 21st.
According to the Croatian Times, the project is being led by a local association for development and creativity called Mreza za razvoj i kreativnost and is aimed at economists, scientists and students living in the country.
Davor Pavuna, a Croatian physicist at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, told the newspaper: "If we link three per cent of Croatian experts in Croatia and abroad and friends of Croatia, it will be possible to set up a network of experts who are capable of helping the country move in the right direction."
Those staying in Croatia villas could visit the Museum of Contemporary Art, which is currently showing a dance and light installation by Brice Leroux and a slide show exhibition by David Smithson.
