Three bedroom villa with pool in Dubrovnik region
This attractive three bedroom villa is located in the Konavle valley in Dubrovnik region. With the mountains located on one side and the sea on the other, this attractive area is abundant in vineyards and olive groves with many of the small villages maintaining old customs and their inhabitants still wearing traditional costumes. This area features some good restaurants, one of the most well known being Konavoski Dvori situated in a watermill near the waterfalls of the River Ljuta.
The villa is situated in the small village of Dubravka and guests enter the property via a side door from the village road and up onto the first floor where there is a terrace suitable for outdoor dining overlooking the pool and garden. Guests enter the villa, the indoor area of which is all located on one level, directly into a very spacious open plan lounge / dining area which is decorated with traditional antique furniture from the region. To the right of the living room a door leads into a small corridor which on one side leads into a large eat in fully equipped country kitchen whilst on the opposite side there is a spacious family shower room. To the rear of the lounge there are two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room. A twin bedroom is located at the front of the villa accessed from the lounge area. To the rear of the villa there is a BBQ area plus another outdoor dining table. From the main terrace, steps take guests down into the pool area which is bordered by a pretty well kept garden. Steps from the pool lead up into a lovely meadow which features an olive grove and a well stocked kitchen garden which guests can help themselves to during their stay.
The villa would suit a family or group of friends looking to relax in peaceful surroundings whilst at the same time be within easy access of areas of interest. Attractions within the region include the historical towns of Dubrovnik and Cavtat, excursions to off shore islands such as
Mljet and the
Elaphite islands. A little further a field, day trips to
Montenegro and
Mostar are also possible and worth a visit.
