This delightful one-bedroom apartment is situated just below Marijan hill in the Varos district of Split, an area containing many ancient houses set along winding cobbled streets. This romantic location lies within a short walking distance of Split’s Diocletian’s Palace and makes an excellent base from which to explore the city and the surrounding region.A complementary bottle of Dalmatian red wine awaits those clients booking five nights or more at the apartment.
Decorated in a rustic style, with exposed stone and wooden furniture, the apartment is entered from a cobbled street into a hallway from where there are steps leading down into a colourful open plan kitchen/diner/lounge area with French doors opening out into a quaint private courtyard complete with tables and chairs for outdoor eating. There is also a separate shower room on this level. Stairs from the entrance hallway going up take guests into the double bedroom which features a balcony. The TV is also located in the bedroom.
Split has much to offer in the way of sightseeing, bars and restaurants and summer festivals as well as providing easy access to the numerous islands located offshore which make for ideal day trips. Other areas worth visiting and located within easy driving distance include the UNESCO protected town of Trogir, the Makarska Riviera with its fine beaches as well as the Roman City of
Salona to name but a few.
