Four bedroom cottage on Zlarin island near Sibenik
This exceptionally charming stone villa is located on the green, sleepy, car-free island of Zlarin located 20 mins by boat from Sibenik. Famous for its red coral, here you will find crystal clear waters perfect for swimming. The picturesque village of Zlarin remains totally unspoilt and guests will derive much pleasure in walking along the pretty lanes. The cottage is situated within 5 minutes walk from the harbour.
The cottage is entered from a pedestrianised street into a pretty courtyard garden. The main door leads from the garden into an attractive open plan kitchen/diner/lounge area. There is also a shower room with a toilet located on this level. The first floor features a single bedroom, a double bedroom with sink and a separate shower room with toilet. The second floor features two double bedrooms. One of the double beds on the second floor can be easily converted into two single beds. A sink unit is located on the second floor corridor.
The cottage would suit a family or small group holidaying together looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday, away from the sound of cars, motors and the pollution that goes with them. Guests can rent push bikes to explore the island further. This can be done in Sibenik (where bikes can be brought over on the boat). There is a restaurant in the harbour offering Dalmatian cuisine at reasonable prices. A taxi boat can be pre- booked locally for transfers between Sibenik and Zlarin for private use.
