This delightful country villa is located in the heart of Istrian truffle country in the village of Livade. The area is famous for its wine, olive and truffles and the property lies within easy access of Livade village and Restaurant Zigante, one of Croatia’s finest dining establishments featuring a number of signature truffle dishes including truffle ice cream. The villa offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing peaceful holiday in stunning surroundings with views across the Mirna Valley towards the spectacular hill top town of Motovun.

The villa is approached via a country lane and into a driveway which sits to the rear of the villa. An entrance door from the driveway leads directly into an open plan lounge/dining room with Istrian fireplace. A further door next to the fireplace leads out to the side of the villa. Guests can access, via separate doors, a country kitchen, a separate shower room, a single room and a double room from the lounge /dining area. ’Space saving’ stairs from the lounge lead into the attic which features a twin room with low beams (tall people need to take care).

Outside, which is accessed from the side door in the lounge, there is a covered dining area, a BBQ, and a swimming pool all offering spectacular views towards Motovun.

Car Hire is recommend at this villa as there are a number of areas of interest within easy driving distance including the Medieval Hill top towns of Groznjan and Motovun, the latter famous for its annual film festival , as well as the seaside towns of Porec, Rovinj and Vrsar. A little further afield, the Brijuni islands , the Roman amphitheatre in Pula Arena and a day trip to Venice are all recommended excursions that are available from this region.
