Two bedroom apartment with stunning view of Dubrovnik city and sea
This very spacious two bedroom apartment is located just outside Dubrovnik old town walls, within easy walking distance of both the old town and the beach below. The apartment is situated on the raised ground floor of a stunning beachfront white stone villa and offers guests a fabulous view of Dubrovnik old town, and beautiful sea views.
Your Holiday Apartment
The villa is approached from the main road which runs down along the sea front to the old town. Guests enter the premises up a flight of stairs and onto the rear patio area which offers outdoor dining facilities. This entrance and patio is used by the discreet neighbour who lives in the apartment behind; the use of this patio in this way is very limited and does not interfere with the enjoyment of the guests. Guests enter the apartment from a door located on the rear patio and into a long corridor from which radiate the following rooms: a country style kitchen with separate utility room, a bathroom with a bath and separate toilet, a twin room, and a dining room leading into a lounge offering Old Town and sea views. A double bedroom also benefits from city and sea views.
The main terrace is positioned to the front of the apartment and contains chairs and tables where guests can sit and enjoy the wonderful sea views on offer.
The villa would suit a family or friends looking for a place to stay within easy walking distance of the old town, restaurants and beaches.

Owner is brilliant. She's a family friend now!
Impressed with: People
Not impressed with: Too busy now!
Recommend: Kapun for food Day boat trips to Lokrum, Lopud and Cavtat
Favourite villa moment: Terrace views all day
Stayed July 2016
Owner was fantastic. Maybe it should be mentioned that the shower cubicle is up a step which makes it a little difficult to get into.
Impressed with: Reasonable prices the quality of the food in the restaurants and how beautiful it is.
Not impressed with: Some staff in shops appear a little surly/ serious
Recommend: The horizont restaurant just outside the town near the accommodation was excellent
Favourite villa moment: Sitting on the balcony each morning in the Sun with a coffee

Impressed with: People, food, value, scenery
Not impressed with: Lack of sandy beaches
Recommend: Kopun is a superb restaurant and the cable car trip is great fun. The basic restaurnat juts along the road is also great value/good food
Favourite villa moment: Breakfast on the terrace

This villa offers amazing views and we forgot our binoculars so a pair to use would have been brilliant. Wonderful property, would highly recommend.
Impressed with: Cleanliness Great restaurants and activities.
Recommend: All restaurants were excellent.
Favourite villa moment: Fantastic balcony with amazing views Everything spotless and clean Well stocked kitchen with American fridge freezer with on tap chilled water Air conditioning so great night’s sleep

All was absolutely prefect.
Just the best place in the area with that iconic view of the Adriatic and the old walled city, Bakery 100 yards away and a mini-market 2-300 yards along the road, beach right under the property and a brief stroll into town. The views and enjoyment of the terrace was the highlight for us.
Caretaker is great as are the entire family. Warm, engaging and keen to ensure we had everything we needed, including Wifi and TV if required.
Keep it going folks!
Impressed with: The warmth of the people allied to the scenery.
Not impressed with: Getting busier!
Recommend:The lot! Go and visit Cavtat by board, 45 mins from the harbour and do the 3 island cruise of the Eliphites. Lapad is also a nice quite break form the hustle and bustle of the city, especially if there are 2-3 cruise ships in.
Favourite villa moment: The terrace, without a doubt. Superb views and fab for either breakfast or a glass of wine late afternoon/evening.

The property is advertised as having Wi-Fi but it didn't work all week - and the local contact seemed not be surprised... It's not essential to have Wi-Fi but it's frustrating to feel let down. Don't promise something you can't deliver! Similarly on TV - satellite TV is advertised but in reality this seems just to mean BBC News (not even BBC World) and two local channels (intermittently). We were at home in the evenings with a small baby so this was disappointing.
The reception rooms are not very thoughtfully furnished. There was nowhere to comfortably sit in the evenings once the baby was in bed. The TV is in a formal dining room with three arm chairs spaced around the walls (but the apartment sleeps 4). There was a smaller sitting room but no tv or music in there. We felt discouraged from using the dining room (e.g. no table linens) and wondered why it was furnished that way.
Property Manager was very very helpful and very good English. But she wasn't able to do anything about the Wi-Fi. We had requested a baby cot at time of booking. This was available but broken at one side and would have been useless if the baby was slightly bigger - he would have escaped!/p>
Impressed with: Reasonable value for money. Absolutely beautiful scenery.
Not impressed with: Some of the customer service we had was pretty poor. I would definitely avoid Adrianna boat trips if at all possible. The staff are incredibly rude
Recommend: The taxi service was really excellent
Favourite villa moment: In our paddling pool on the front terrace with the baby - looking over the beach and the old town./p>
Comments from Villa: We are sorry we could not fix the Wi-Fi at the time, it was due to a password error. It is now fixed.

You forgot to tell that the location of this apartment is absolutely the BEST in town:-). You missed nothing, everything was perfect.
Impressed with: People are friendly, they speak very good English. The atmosphere was very relaxed despite of the tourist crowds.
Not impressed with: I only can say that the beaches are not so amazing...I did not expect them to be ...so I was not disappointed even in that
Recommend: We loved the restaurant on the left side of Frana Supila on the way to old town ( after the beach and lazaret and before market and taxis). Beautiful view to the old harbour, nice food and staff, reasonable prices) Unfortunately I don´t remember the name of it. By the way the cruises they sell in harbour should be made with the big pirate boat only.
Favourite villa moment: Sunset views from the terrace to old harbour

The owner was very kind, he cooked us several time for free! He was fantastic. There was a restaurant in the corner: beautiful view, perfect food.

The apartment was gorgeous - we thoroughly appreciated the care that had been put into the property. We loved the original paintings and furniture. Silly thing........... loo paper............we arrived late in the afternoon off our flight from England We were surprised to find just a quarter of a roll of loo paper in the loo. We asked for another roll but it never came. Caretaker was very helpful when we arrived, although she did say she would pop in the next morning with the loo paper and to see if everything was O.K. but she didn't come.
Recommend: A boat trip to some small islands with a fish picnic - good value at £25 per head and good fun.
Favourite villa moment: Sitting on the terrace relaxing looking out at the gorgeous view of old Dubrovnik.

Great place, friendly and communicative owner. Dubrovnik became very expensive overall (daily public parking is even more expensive than 4-star hotel underground garage daily parking!) but that has nothing to do with your service, which was fast (immediate responsiveness was something I valued the most) and property presentation on the web was great (and matched the reality). Great highway system, excellent weather, great system of ferry transportation (Jadrolinia) and most clean sea I have ever been to. Keep going - you have a great service! Thank you very much.

The views from the apartment are stunning - and having a choice of two outside areas to sit and relax was fantastic. It felt like staying in someone’s home rather than a holiday apartment which was lovely. The other main advantage was the short walk to the Old Town, without having to climb many steps on the way back. (We liked) The stunning scenery, friendly people, clean blue sea, fantastic weather - so hot!
I thought the web site was very easy to use and any e-mails I sent were answered very quickly. It was one of the most straight forward bookings I have ever made. The main problem we have had on previous holidays is the arriving and we can't get into the property, either the person who was supposed to be meeting us was late or the key hadn't been left etc.. this is the worst thing because you are tired and feeling anxious. However, this was not the case with this apartment – the manager was outside the villa waiting for us with her big smile and friendly welcome - she was great - there if we needed anything.
We booked a taxi to transfer us form the airport and back, they were great - no deposit required they were there waiting when we arrived and he picked us up promptly to take us back.

Our host, was most gracious and helpful. Impressed with the warmth and friendliness of the Croatians and the cleanliness of the land and its magnificent scenery.
Stayed September 2009
Villa is in a magnificent location visually but although within walking distance of the old town area, it is still quite a long walk - about 20 minutes each way and up hill on the way back so can be quite tiring. The nearest shop is also this far away. The caretaker of the property was very helpful and only came around twice so as not to bother us.

The apartment had the most brilliant location - a short walk into Dubrovnik and an amazing view of the sea and the Old Town.
