Excellent. A microwave, a kettle, and egg cups would have been useful. Everything was as advertised
Impressed with: Friendliness, value for money and the weather
Not impressed with: Probably the lack of sandy beaches
Recommend: We would highly recommend Pellago Restaurant in Jelsa for quality and price and service.
Favourite villa moment: Breakfast on the balcony with super views

The photos on the internet did not show the true beauty of the views from the balcony.

We were thrilled with our gem overlooking Jelsa Bay…
We were pleasantly surprised with our apartments; though we saw pictures online we did not know what to expect (one never knows). However, on arrival, we were thrilled with our gem overlooking the bay in Jelsa! Thanks for connecting us with a great apartment. The property was great, we were satisfied with our overall experience

Beautiful location and the views were as good as the brochure said. Apartment very good size and large balcony. In fact it was better than we expected. No hairdryer/iron/ironing board or kettle. No safe.
Impressed with: Countryside, ice-cream and prices.
Not impressed with: Poor standard of driving, crowds and wine.
Recommend: One thing that I would definitely not recommend was the noise from an open air concert on our last night. I don't know what the event was but the noise level was phenomenal (I don't exaggerate) and I couldn't sleep until it stopped which was 4 am !!!! I would definitely think twice about recommending Jelsa due to this. I think the local property owners need to clarify the situation with the town administration as we also heard high volumes of noise at other times but thankfully for only short bursts.
Favourite villa moment: Breakfast on the balcony looking at that fantastic view ! Our 10 year old took care to lay out fruit and flowers and we had to score for presentation. Also being presented with an unusual gourd from the resident downstairs as we left.
Comments: There was a municipality day on the 15 August in Jelsa, and there was a concert on Aug 14 and 15. It was a noisy concert, so a number of house owners filed a complaint to the city Mayor. Besides Aug 14 and 15 there was also a wine fair on Aug 29-30 with one more concert although it was less noisy. On all the other days the noise level is typical for a summer tourist destination.
