Osijek website could help Croatian travellers
01 December 2009People planning to travel to Croatia could learn more about the history-rich country before they arrive thanks to a new website that was launched this week.
The site promotes the most prominent figures of Osijek and offers visitors information and advice on the north-eastern city, reports the Croatian Times.
Its grand unveiling was timed to mark Osijek City Day - a celebration which aims to draw attention to the historic location.
Ypsilon Production Company, which designed the website, tells the newspaper: "The project will be constantly updated. We invite all residents to help with their suggestions and ideas."
Tourists who take a look at the site may wish to book accommodation in Croatia close to Osijek, from where they could enjoy all the city has to offer.
Osijek is located on the banks of the River Drava and sights include the Croatian National Theatre, Ante Starcevic Square and the Fine Arts Gallery.
