Tourists in Croatia could enjoy talent competition winners' gig
17 November 2009Music fans currently on holiday in Croatia may want to enjoy a concert by the winners of a national talent competition tonight (November 17th).
Guitarists Ivan Vragolovich and Tomi Novak plus band Nebo and the Downstrokes were victorious in the Croatian Blues Challenge earlier this year, reports the Croatian Times.
And tonight they will play together for the first time at the Bluesax event at a Zagreb venue.
Tourists in the Croatian capital will also see the trio of winners receive a special plaque marking their rise to stardom.
An overall winner will be decided at the concert and they will have the opportunity to attend the 26th International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, next year on behalf of Croatia.
Music lovers searching for gigs by more established artists may want to extend their trip to Croatia as legendary acts Pet Shop Boys and Jose Carreras are both set to put on a show in the country over the coming weeks.
