U2 in Croatia next month
02 July 2009Irish rockers U2 are performing in Croatia next month and if the band's first concert of the tour is anything to go by fans can expect a spectacular occasion.
The band entertained the Barcelona crowds on Tuesday and Wednesday and also paid tribute to the so-called King of Pop Michael Jackson, who died last week.
However, Bono and the other members of the group have not made it clear if they will be repeating this mark of respect to the Man in the Mirror singer when they play in other countries around the world over the next few months.
Croatia welcomes U2 on August 9th and 10th - and many people from across Europe will be making the trip to Zagreb especially for the gigs.
Some may wish to make a holiday of the event and explore what else Croatia has to offer.
For those who do, hiring a car could provide the best option for travelling the Balkan nation, as it will allow for easy access to the country's beautiful beaches.
