stone villa is located in the village of
Orasac near Dubrovnik. Set in the hills that line this part of the coast, the villa offers very
pretty views of the Adriatic sea and surrounding islands. The
villa is offered as a three bedroom main
house plus two bedroom annexe.
Guests approach the
villa from the main road up a side street which after approximately 700m leads to the villa. Car parking is in front and below the
accommodation and there are approximately 25 steps up to the property from the car parking area. The
villa consists of a main house plus annexe and in front of both runs the main
sea facing terrace which also features an outside glass covered dining table and cushion covered stone bench. Guests enter the main
house directly into an attractively decorated open plan kitchen / diner / lounge area with separate shower room. The kitchen is slightly raised from the lounge area. The first floor features two double rooms both offering sea views, a twin bedroom and a separate family bathroom with bath.
The annexe which adjoins the main
house is located on the first floor and guests go up a flight of stairs into a very pretty, brightly lit by natural light and stylishly decorated open plan kitchen (featuring an American style fridge), lounge and dining area. Shutters in the lounge open up onto a pretty balcony offering lovely views of the sea and islands. A galleried sleeping area featuring a double bed and separate toilet is attached to this main open plan lounge. To the rear and on the ground floor of the
accommodation there is a separate double bedroom and separate bathroom with a bath.
Below the main terrace stairs lead down to the kidney shaped
pool and sunbathing area.
The
accommodation would suit a
family or group of friends looking to stay within easy access of Dubrovnik.
Car hire is recommended if staying at this
villa. The nearest beach is within 5 minutes drive and features the charming
Caffe Bar Hawaii surrounded by fantastic clear water and a small harbour providing the opportunity to go on private boat excursions to explore the serene islands of Sipan, Lopud and Kolocep. In addition to visiting the splendid historical city of
Dubrovnik, the nearby 63 acre Arboretum at
Trsteno is well worth a visit. Other trips for consideration include excursions to off shore islands such as
Mljet and the
Elaphite islands as well as day trips/excursions to
Montenegro and
Mostar.
