Mattress is not as comfortable as it could be - too springy with no support. There is also a terrible smell in the lobby (maybe from the restaurant downstairs). Fortunately it does not permeate the apartment, but it's a terrible thing to walk into every time you enter and leave. Otherwise - exactly as advertised. Charming decor with a wonderful balcony. VERY convenient. We would recommend! Gorgeous water, historic sites, warm people. In a tourist destination like Old Town Dubrovnik, it is incredibly crowded and all of the restaurant menus are the same. We come to Croatia to eat Croatian food, not British food! Caretaker was professional, kind and informative upon arrival. He made things very easy.

New orthopaedic, antibacterial Italian mattresses have since been bought for the bed. Occasional smells from nearby restaurant kitchens can be noticed although this phenomenon is not specific to this apartment. Such ambient odours are not unusual when staying within Dubrovnik City Walls.

Excellent, we had an amazing experience that was enhanced by the property manager’s charm and service. Too many tourists on Stradun, restaurants have little variety. Amazing water and scenery.

I would recommend this to anyone. Four stars. Slightly more costly than I anticipated, but that was in Old Town Dubrovnik so likely to be expected, and rather too many cruise liners stopping off in the high season. (Otherwise) Clean, vibrant, friendly, cultured, historical, welcoming... I could go on and on!

We really enjoyed our stay in Dubrovnik and the apartment was in great condition. The caretaker for the property also arranged to pick us up from our early morning ferry for no extra charge, which was unexpected and much appreciated. Thanks for an easy and stress free way to find accommodation suited to our needs.

It was better than expected; our host was very pleasant and helpful, suggesting good restaurants and tourist traps to be avoided. He went out of his way to be helpful. Fantastic location, very clean and homely. The scenery is beautiful; it is peaceful, warm and glorious.

The property was just like the photo on the website which was wonderful. We notified the owner that our arrival was delayed due to problems with the ferry and he waited for us and gave us lots of helpful information plus came back to help us when we found the key wasn't working properly. We felt very welcome! The variety of experiences we had - seeing historical sites, world heritage parks and towns, the beauty of the islands and coast; the quality of the food and wine and helpfulness of the people we met. [Not impressed with] Opatija and Zadar - the neglect of some of the old buildings and ruins - the grandeur of the Opatija Riviera we thought was fading badly.
