We thought the accommodation was excellent and suited our requirements very well. Quiet, good location, homely etc. We bought all our food from the local Green Market and prepared it back at the apartment. Only slight snag was no cooker but we worked around it. We would like to return again next year for sure. It was such an ideal little retreat. Only comment would be that perhaps the mattress needs to be replaced soon. We put down a spare duvet beneath the bed sheet as we felt the springs. Otherwise really smooth transaction, many thanks. Friendly personal service. We'll be booking back into Split next year!
Impressed with: Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Easy going yet equally efficient. We noticed top class street cleaning, no litter! It was astonishing. Pride in city's presentation and rich heritage. I was totally charmed by the regulars at the Jezinac bathing cove. I am a keen outdoor swimmer and the atmosphere here was just perfect. I've found the best bathing cove for me! Also found some top coffee shot spots! I want to return to find out more about the city's contemporary art/design scene and I felt I needed to venture more into the city beyond the obvious tourist spots. Lots to discover next time!
It’s so rare for me to say I'd want to repeat the same trip again but we've already agreed we're coming back same time, same place next year. Well with the addition of Dubrovnik! Next time we'll fly in to Split from Bristol then take a bus down to Dubrovnik and stay there two days before returning via Gatwick.
