'All night clubbing offered in Hvar'
10 July 2008
Hvar is one of Europe's premier clubbing destinations, offering all-night entertainment, it is claimed.
ABC News says revellers can enjoy their night by the luxury yachts moored in the islands "star-studded port".
Trg Sveti Stiepan in Hvar Town, the nightly passegiata through the main square and late night parties in "celebrity hotspot" Carpe Diem are all 'must-do' activities according to the news provider.
Parties are said to peak during the summer months and weekly theme parties are likely to "go full steam" until the small hours of the morning, mixing locals with wealthy visitors.
While ABC News suggests Hvar is positioning itself as a rival to Ibiza and Mykonos in Greece as a party venue, it added the island also offers "culturally rich sightseeing in its picturesque towns".
Carpe Diem was recently noted as the centrepiece of Hvar's clubbing scene by jetsetreport.com.
The website said the island enjoys a thriving nightlife, ideal for younger travellers.
