Bob Dylan heading to Croatia
18 April 2008
Bob Dylan is to perform at this year's Radar Festival in Varazdin, north Croatia, this summer.
The concert will be held on June 13th and will be at the Varazdin city stadium. It is the only stop in the Balkans on Dylan's tour.
Other acts for the festival will be announced shortly but the presence of a music legend is sure to persuade many people to visit Croatia.
Tickets for the event will cost 250 kuna (£27) before April 30th and 290 (£31) kuna when bought between April 30th and June 12th.
Varazdin is in north-western Croatia and is on the right bank of the Drava river.
Bob Dylan becomes the latest big-name singer to visit the region after it was confirmed that Madonna will be singing in Montenegro as part of her world tour to celebrate her 50th birthday.
Madonna will be performing on Jaz Beach in Budva, which is a coastal town in the country.
