Budget airline announces new Croatia link-up

People considering travelling to Croatia for a holiday and are looking to spend as little money as possible will no doubt be boosted by easyJet's announcement that it is introduce a route from Bristol to Split.
The flights start next Saturday, at the same time as another new route to Olbia in Sardinia.
David Osborne, easyJet UK general manager, said: "easyJet has seen a huge increase in flights to summer sun destinations in 2007-2008 from Bristol International Airport, with the arrival of Ibiza, Bordeaux, Milan, Lisbon, Warsaw and Funchal last year."
He added that the new routes to Biaritz, Olbia and Split "reinforce our position as the UK's largest airline".
According to the airline it is expecting 47,000 passengers over the new routes in the next year.
The introduction of cheap flights to Split could boost tourism in the city, which is the second largest in Croatia and is located in Dalmatia.
