Budget holidays better in Croatia than Italy, report claims

Croatia is a better option for budget-conscious holiday-goers than nearby rival Italy, it has emerged.
A holiday suggestions report compiled by German motor company ADAC has also revealed the country is cheaper than popular locations such as Denmark and France.
Last year's winner, Poland, once again came out on top as a "great bargain", although its infrastructure was found to be lagging behind competing countries.
The report added: ""In terms of family-friendliness Poland looks pretty grim."
Beachgoers, it was suggested, will still be looking towards Croatia's coastline, where it has been revealed foreign property investors are also targeting "lifestyle" holiday homes.
Potential buyers are mainly being lured to the Adriatic Coast, with retirees also being tempted by the high quality of living, affordability and attractiveness of the climate in such areas.
