Capello decides team for Croatia game
12 August 2008
Fabio Capello has announced that he has decided what team he will field when England travel to Zagreb on September 10th.
The game against Croatia will be the second match in England's campaign to qualify for the World Cup in 2010, reports Setanta Sports.
In order to guarantee they make it to the tournament in South Africa, England will have to finish top of their group.
This will mean beating Andorra, against whom they kick off their campaign, as well as the Ukraine, Croatia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
Mr Capello stated: "I know my team for the Andorra and Croatia games but for the next one, some very important players are not fit right now."
Croatia will start their World Cup campaign at home at the Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb.
They will be playing "minnows" Andorra before taking on the tougher challenge of an England team organised by ex-Real Madrid manager Capello.
