Cheap holiday sales abroad increase

Britons are looking to escape the gloomy weather in the UK as cheap holiday sales have increased in the third quarter of this year.
Despite the economic crisis, people are still planning on getting away from their everyday lives for a relaxing holiday in the sun.
Recently the tourism industry has suffered due to the economic downturn and holidaymakers having less disposable income to spend on breaks.
However, some companies have seen up to a 203 per cent increase in holiday sales in the third quarter of this year compared to the same period in 2007.
Croatia could be a good choice, as the city of Dubrovnik provides the visitor with a mixture of ancient traditions and a modern culture in the winter months.
Often called the Pearl of the Adriatic, the city is quieter over the New Year period than in the summer months giving tourists more space to explore.
