Croatia a 'bargain' for buyers and holiday renters

Croatia offers property "bargains" with long-term potential, according to analysts.

Independent firm Amberlamb noted that the eastern European mecca presents a positive investment prospect as the market "is in its infancy".

Furthermore, the group confirmed the growing impression that Croatia's popularity is surging – particularly with holidaymakers and UK investors.

"If you're looking for a bargain with a long-term potential for strong yet sustainable growth, Croatia could very well be it," remarked an Amberlamb representative.

The spokesperson went on to point out that the country is already a favourite among buyers from Germany, Britain and Ireland.

While house prices in the most popular areas are now expected to rise as a result of the business boom, Amberlamb observed that Croatia's appeal as a holiday destination has also strengthened its rental prospects.

Earlier this month, the Croatian National Tourist Office revealed that 275,000 UK holidaymakers visited the country last year alone.

Meanwhile, official figures suggested that the country attracted 11 million foreign tourists between January and November in 2007 - eight per cent more than the same period in 2006.ADNFCR-1197-ID-18464236-ADNFCR
