Croatia a 'family-friendly' choice
05 March 2008
Single parents interested in exploring Croatia's accommodation potential are being encouraged to avail of the range of tailored holiday options available to them.
Representatives for tour operator Small Families noted that single parents often seek out destinations that are hassle-free with lots of activities on offer for all the family.
They singled out Croatia for its people-friendliness and diversity of food and culture, pointing out that the wide range of villas and apartments available to rent makes the eastern European mecca even more of a holiday "catch".
"It's important to us that single parents are viewed as the 'norm' and not subject to some of the frustrations they can face when trying to arrange a holiday," remarked Allen Miller, founder of Small Families.
Previous visitors to Croatia have lauded its suitability for families of all sizes, as the range of accommodation on offer means groups can create a "home" away from home while sampling some of the finest sights, smells and tastes the Mediterranean has to offer.
