Croatia economy progressing 'very fast'
05 March 2008
Eastern European destinations like Croatia have "very fast" progressing economies and as a result offer a range of opportunities for people thinking of investing across the Adriatic.
That is the conclusion of advice website PropertyInvestment.co.uk, whose representatives alluded to the boom in accommodation and jobs in the country.
Ewan McGarrie, the website's chief executive, suggested that individuals interested in the apartment and villa sector of the region should "make hay while the sun shines", as Croatia in particular is reaping the benefits of an economic boom.
"At the end of the day, these are not backward economies. They are very fast progressing economies with very strong job markets," he remarked, pointing out that the country is considerably less expensive than the UK.
Last month, holiday specialists in Bulgaria testified to Croatia's burgeoning potential when they featured the country in Sofia's 25th Holiday & Spa fair.
Meanwhile, this year's IMEX conference is set to feature a greater presence from organisations promoting the country.
