Croatia enjoys heat wave

Temperatures across the western Balkans could rise to their highest levels in over a century, it has been revealed.
A period of hot, sunny weather began at the weekend and is expected to continue for at least the next three weeks, according to balkaninsight.com.
It is expected temperatures could remain above 20 degrees Celsius at night and "the mercury in Serbia has topped 36 degrees" over the last three days, according to the website.
Travellers are advised temperatures could exceed 40 degrees Celsius and that they should be prepared to drink plenty of water, bring light clothing and they may need to spend peak sunshine hours indoors depending on the humidity.
According to BBC weather, the average temperature in Dubrovnik ranges from a minimum of 18 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 25 in June and lows of 21 to highs of 29 in July.
The record high temperature levels for the town are 34 degrees Celsius in June and 37 in July.
