Croatia has 'outstanding beauty'
18 August 2008
Croatia has been featured as a destination for UK property buyers by a leading publication.
Homes Overseas has produced a guide to investing in Croatia.
The magazine notes several attractions of the country for prospective house buyers, including "a balmy climate and thousands of kilometres of coastline".
Several areas are mentioned in the article, which gives information for those wishing to travel to Dubrovnik, Split, Hvar or Brac with the intention of purchasing a new home.
The country in general is described as having "outstanding beauty and a fantastic coastline".
Advice on issues such as tax, travel, health and money is also given by the publication.
Meanwhile, figures released by the Bureau of Statistics show increased airport traffic in Croatia, according to a source.
The research claims there has been a 1.3 per cent rise in passengers flying through the country with national carriers in the second quarter of 2008, with 677,000 doing so, reports Seenews.com
Elsewhere a study by the Zagreb tourist board released earlier this month showed a four per cent rise in holidaymakers travelling to the city during July, when compared with 2007.
