Croatia promoted at international tourism event

Croatian tour operators, tourist agencies, state and branch organisations and regional and local tourism councils are among those who taking part in a tourism exhibition in Sofia.
The 25th anniversary edition of the Holiday & Spa fair, organised by Prim Expo in co-operation with the State Agency for Tourism, runs from February 21st to the 23rd.
It features a variety of hotels, spa centers and complexes, hydrotherapy and eco tourism, cultural and wine tourism, transport organisations, communication technologies, tourist products and equipment, health insurance companies who will all be exhibiting at the event.
Representatives from Croatia, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Spain and Italy will be among the countries taking part.
The event also features government representatives from Croatia giving talks on the history, culture and tourism of their country.
Sofia city hall and its tourism council, Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association, Bulgarian Association of Tourist Agencies and other sector associations are partnering the event.
Meanwhile, tourist operators have said Croatia is fast becoming a popular destination with more savvy travel enthusiasts.
