Croatia retail success to spread to Montenegro

Retail developers are taking their cue from successful Croatian enterprises and proliferating to Montenegro, it has emerged.
Colliers International - the firm behind some of Croatia's major retail coups - plans to open the first in international-style shopping mall in the country this summer.
Situated just outside the centre of Podgorica, Delta City will include a Cineplex, and supermarket as well as entertainment facilities and a food court.
"We think that the people of Podgorica are going to be very excited by the quality of the retailers that we are bringing to town - this mall is going to transform shopping in Montenegro," remarked Miodrag Gazibara, key accounts manager at the firm.
Earlier this month, the property guru's Croatian colleague confirmed that another international-style shopping centre in the central Dalmatia town of Sibenik will be open for business by spring next year.
Vedrana Likan said the eagerly-awaited Dalmare extension will create a "unique example in Croatia" and provide an extra attraction for people considering villa and apartment rental in the coming year.
