Croatia 'worth visiting' for nudists
28 August 2008
Tourists wishing to shed their clothes on their holiday could do well to visit Croatia, it is claimed.
According to Cheapflights.co.uk, Valalta in Istria includes one of the best nudist beaches in Europe.
Travellers are cautioned that if they do decide to visit such a beach they will be obliged to remove their clothing, or risk being thrown out.
Nadine Hallak, travel expert for the website, adds suncream is essential for skinny-dippers to avoid any unfortunate burning.
She adds: "If you've already burnt any areas where the sun doesn't normally shine, some effective natural remedies includes milk compresses, refrigerated Aloe Vera gel and bathing in lavender oil.
"Failing that, you could always reach for some anti-inflammatory tablets."
Meanwhile, Homes Worldwide recently claimed the Istrian peninsula is "one of Croatia's most bewitching areas", enjoying the high points of the Italian region of Tuscany without the same level of expense.
According to the publication, the north Adriatic coastline is a major attraction for those wishing to travel to Croatia.
