Croatian art exhibition visits from Belgrade

A new art exhibition in the Croatian capital of Zagreb features works held by the national museum of Serbia.
The exhibition opened on January 10th and includes 100 fine Croatian works from the Belgrade museum.
It is an opportunity to see paintings and sculptures by Croatian artists between 1850 and 1950, many of which have not been seen in Zagreb before, the curator Ljubica Miljkovic told IPS news service.
A number of works by highly respected Croatian artist Ivan Mestrovic (1883-1962) will be party of the exhibition, as will as work by sculptor Toma Rosandic (1878-1959), who founded the Academy of Arts in Belgrade in the late 1940s.
An exciting exhibition of works by Marc Chagall has also just opened at Zagreb's prominent Klovicevi Dvori gallery.
