Croatian 'sun worshippers treated to cocktails'
25 July 2008
Sun and warm weather has been attracting tourists to Croatia's beaches, it is reported.
According to Javno.com, visitors to the beach in Porec on the Dalmatian coast were given an unexpected treat this week when a bar tender attempted to break a record for preparing cocktails.
Guests at the beach party were left delighted by the challenge and cheered for Ivan Maric, despite him going over the ten minute time limit.
The news provider states he made cocktails using the same recipe as his father did to break a Croatian record for the country's biggest cocktail in 2003.
Mirko Maric, who is also a bartender at hotel Valamar Rubin, made 200 litres of the drink which he created in 25 minutes.
