Croatia's booming tourism feeds property investment
19 December 2007
Healthy growth in Croatia's tourism industry and the likelihood it will join the European Union make the country an attractive investment, according to website Foreign Property Buyer.
People taking holidays and renting villas in Croatia are increasingly seeing the potential for property investment as easy flight access from abroad open up this beautiful country.
Foreign Property Buyer is recommending that investors consider Croatia as international leisure travellers are flocking to the Adriatic coastline and islands, boosting the rental market.
"This emerging tourism industry makes Croatia ripe for foreign property investors with a rental market that is also growing substantially," they commented.
The report by this international property organisation predicts that Croatia could join the EU before 2012 as it is making "substantial progress" with its negotiations.
Croatian accommodation currently offers very good value. The website describes "knock-down prices".
