Dalmatia holiday: Retail developments bring property firm the kuna
17 March 2008
The property firm behind the development of an "international-style" shopping centre in the central Dalmatia town of Sibenik has scooped a prestigious business gong for its efforts.
Colliers International Croatia is in charge of the Dalmare establishment's new extension, and has now been recognised by the Croatian Institute for Business Intelligence.
Representatives for the firm revealed that the First Croatian Kuna - named after the country's currency - is only given to the top one per cent of companies in the eastern European destination.
At a ceremony in capital city Zagreb's Westin Hotel, judges lauded Colliers' profitability and productivity.
Tomislav Perovic, managing director and board member of Colliers International Croatia, outlined his firm's "core values" of innovation, dedication, creative excellence, honesty and integrity.
"To be able to fulfill this aim we invest in technologies and education but also constantly work on the development of our client service relationships," he said of the judges' decision.
With offices in Zagreb, Dubrovnik and Split, real estate specialist Colliers has worked on Avenue Mall - the first third-generation international-style shopping centre in Zagreb - as well as Sibenik's latest retail revolution.
