EU visitors to Croatia to benefit from non-confiscation of LAGs

Duty free liquids, aerosols and gels (LAGs) will no longer be confiscated at Croatian airports after the country was added to an EU-approved list, it has been revealed.
The EU Aviation Security Regulatory Committee passed the legislation yesterday, to the delight of Croatian officials, according to the Moodie Report.
Passengers arriving from and making connecting flights to EU airports will now be able to retain all their items.
Niksa Milanovic, trade department manager at Dubrovnik airport, told the news provider the change is good for the operator and for the country as a whole.
He added: "We're looking forward to a very good season it looks like being ahead of last year."
The EU approval will be of particular interest to British, French, Irish and German tourists, who are the most frequent flyers to the airport from within the union.
Croatian Airlines makes the most journeys from the airport, followed by Dubrovnik Airlines and British Airways.
