Flyglobespan cements 'Croatian commitment'
09 June 2008
More Scottish tourists could be set to travel to Dubrovnik after airline company Flyglobespan announced the launch of a new link between the historic town and Edinburgh.
Travellers will now have the opportunity to fly between the resort on the Adriatic coast and the Scottish capital every Wednesday, reports cheapflights.co.uk.
It will become the second Flyglobespan route between Scotland and Croatia, following the existing Edinburgh to Pula link.
Rick Green, chief executive of Flyglobespan, said he is delighted the company is operating a new route from Edinburgh.
He added: "This new flight reinforces our commitment to Croatia and we are delighted that it is proving so popular with the Scottish market."
Flyglobespan's announcement follows various other air links to Croatia being revealed.
Jat Airways is to offer flights between Serbian capital Belgrade and Pula this summer, while Croatia airlines is flying from Zagreb to Kosovo capital Pristina and Montenegrin capital Podgorica.
