German president to visit Croatia

The German president Horst Koehler is to visit Croatia to discuss the country's efforts to join the EU.
Mr Koehler is set to meet Croatian prime minister Ivo Sanader and president Stjepan Mesic.
American president George Bush also recently visited Croatia and was full of praise for the country which is also becoming a popular place to holiday.
Should Croatia become part of the EU, it will make it a lot easier for holidaymakers to visit the country and take advantage of its beautiful coastline and renowned Croatian villas.
EU representatives have also been praising the country saying it should be a member of the union by 2011.
Olli Rehn, the EU Enlargement Commissioner said: "The sooner Croatia meets all the requirements the sooner it will become the EU member."
Among the requirements set out for the country is to improve the shipping industry there.
Sofia Milanovic, the president of the Social Democratic Party in Croatia recently said the visit of George Bush is a "good thing" for the country.
