People 'will love Petrcane' when visiting festival
25 July 2008
Great weather and restaurants are promised for visitors to the Electric Elephant festival in the coastal village of Petrcane in Croatia.
Daily Music Guide reports organisers claim the location is a "beautiful place" and promise visitors: "It's enchanting
You'll fall in love."
The three-day event is being arranged by the Electric Chair club in Manchester, England, in conjunction with music labels Fence Collective, Red Bricks and The Local.
Organisers promise "music, love, sun, liberation, escape, sex, togetherness and freedom" and confirmed acts such as Adem, Quiet Village and Liz Green will be joining King Creosote on the bill.
According to the Guide, Balearic beach parties, party boats and a moonlit outdoor stage will all be part of an experience organisers suggest will be unlike any festival in the UK.
Tickets for the festival, which is taking place from August 22nd to 24th, cost from £41.66 to £50.00.
Visitors are reminded the nearest airport to Petrcane is Zadar, which is 20 minutes by taxi. Transfers from Split and Zagreb will also be operated.
