President's Croatia visit "a good thing" for country

The president of the Social Democratic Party in Croatia has said that the visit of the US president George Bush is good for the country.
Mr Bush's visit marked the firts time a US president had been to the country and Zoran Milanovic has said it is a "good thing" for Croatia.
Commenting on the visit, Mr Milanovic said: "Considering its global influence, the USA has always been our neighbour, regardless of the fact that we do not border one another, as an influence which spreads all around the world, makes us always American neighbours."
The US first lady Laura Bush described Croatian history as "amazing" and "very very beautiful" during her visit to the country.
Mrs Bush was spending time with the wife of the Croatian prime minister Ivo Sanader.
High profile visitors such as George Bush highlight the attractiveness of the country, which could mean an increase in people holidaying in Croatian villas.
