18 March 2008
Sports fans who decide on a Croatia holiday in the coming months may have an added entertainment bonus in their accommodation.
Multimedia communications and broadcasting giant Epic Corporation has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement which will see Croatia and 11 other European nations gain a range of new sports broadcasts.
Original mixed martial arts events, professional boxing and wrestling will be included in the output as a result of the deal with Carol Angela Davis and Global Broadcasting & Syndication.
Epic representatives said the agreement "will open the doors" to multicultural audiences in the countries involved.
"The fans we will attract over the years will help to bring all countries closer together, as we share a common love for sports and the admiration for the valiant athletes who challenge each other for world recognition and fame," remarked Mick Bazsuly, the firm's president.
In another recent small-screen coup for Croatia, Californian television and brand management company DIC Entertainment revealed that the country will air 26 new episodes of popular US TV series Horseland.
