TV show 'a successful brand' for Croatia's entertainment fans
11 February 2008
Croatia is to get 26 new episodes of a popular US TV series.
Horseland, the brainchild of Californian television and brand management company DIC Entertainment, is set in a stable where children and their horses share adventures and compete with one another.
Said by its creators to fuse adventure, fantasy and compelling storylines, the show's horses and other animals also talk to each other about their human counterparts.
Leslie Nelson, DIC's senior vice-president, explained to C21 Media that the programme had already been made available in Croatia via pay-TV.
"Horseland incorporates all of the key elements that create a successful brand in this marketplace," he remarked.
"With an additional 26 episodes in production for delivery in 2008, this demonstrates that we are seriously committed to building Horseland into a classic evergreen girls' brand across Europe," he added.
To coincide with the new episodes, merchandise including toys, books and games will also be available to buy.
Entertainment fans who choose to visit the eastern European hotspot this year can also enjoy the imminent 55th anniversary of Croatia's CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) team.
