25 June 2008
Attractive beaches, historical heritage and recreational opportunities continue to attract tourists to Croatia, a website claims.
Despite the country now being relatively expensive compared to in the past, being outside the eurozone still makes it a cost-effective option and travellers continue to flock to Croatia, according to carrentals.co.uk.
Coastal areas such as Dubrovnik, Opatija and Rijeka are performing especially well, it states.
Tourism figures are expected to grow before the end of the year, with the summer months of July and August likely to be most popular due to low-cost seasonal flight options which are leading visitors into the country, the website continues.
Travellers to Croatia will also be able to take advantage of reduced car rental rates being offered by Avis, carrrentals.co.uk recently revealed.
