Travel Dubrovnik: Film festival to take place next month

Dubrovnik is readying itself ahead of the fourth annual Libertas film festival, taking place in the city from June 27th to July 2nd.
The world heritage site is preparing to play host to a range of stars, with previous visitors to the awards including A-List Hollywood actors Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson, as well as Capote producer Michael Ohoven.
Libertas will showcase premieres from all over Europe and the rest of the world during the course of its five day programme across a number of locations, including the Rector's palace, Marin Drzic art performance theatre and Sioboda, the main theatre in the city.
This year's event is set to focus on Cuban film, with movies made in the country to be shown in conjunction with its Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry.
Croatian filmmakers will also enjoy a high profile, with additional emphasis placed on the culture and history of Dubrovnik.
