04 April 2008
This weekend sees a major property event take place in Croatia, where visitors are invited to enjoy the pleasant spring weather while finding out about the country's lucrative market.
Kicking off tomorrow (April 5th) and running for nine days in Split, the Croatia Property Show is expected to attract interest from around the world.
"Those most interested in Croatian property are the English and the Irish," event spokesperson Gordan Jelavic remarked to the Southeast European Times.
He continued: "The weather in Croatia is nice in April and no doubt the visitors will have a great time, enjoying themselves while doing business."
Particular focus will be put on the Adriatic paradise's many island destinations, which total more than 1,000.
Mr Jelavic pointed out that the event is being held as part of the popular Croatian Boat Show, which drew 50,000 visitors just last year.
"Buyers interested in purchasing luxury yachts are good potential clients for the booming Croatian property market," he concluded.
With the popularity of Adriatic sailing holidays increasing steadily over recent years, the Croatia Boat Show has grown to become one of the ten biggest nautical events across the globe.
